Gaining Inspiration at a Traditional English Pottery

1 March 2010

Kia ora folks
We recently discovered we had a traditional English production pottery just down the road and went for a closer look.

With close to 30 staff Whichford Pottery is one of the last working potteries of its kind in the UK.

After speaking with pottery founder Jim Keeling, I have managed to set up a kind of residency or skills exchange at the pottery. In exchange for working a couple of days a week, I have a workshop space for developing my current sculpture ideas and access to a whole lot of expertise and experience in the pottery.

Watch this space for further info on the pottery and our projects there. Click on the link for more info Whichford Pottery Website
