We recently discovered we had a traditional English production pottery just down the road and went for a closer look.

With close to 30 staff Whichford Pottery is one of the last working potteries of its kind in the UK. After speaking with pottery founder Jim Keeling, I have managed to set up a kind of residency or skills exchange at the pottery. In exchange for working a couple of days a week, I have a workshop space for developing my current sculpture ideas and access to a whole lot of expertise and experience in the pottery.
